A 52 year old male, born and raised in Hong Kong, emigrated to Canada in the early 1980's. Now wishes to return with his family to Hong Kong. Question: Would he need to show assets held in Hong Kong with his wife (originally from China) and children (Canadian born) in order to return to HK? Are there any requirements or barriers that he should be aware of?

May I ask, what passport does the father and mother hold (Nationality)? This may have impact on the requirements/entry barriers. Thanks.
