Some time in the early 1980s, in Argentina (in case it matters), I saw a film on TV. I think it was a children's film, because it revolved around children. But that also means it may not have been a movie but for example an episode of something childlike such as Little House on the Prairie. The film was in Spanish, but may have been dubbed. There is a well, there are two children and there is the issue of falling down the well. I believe the "issue" is that a child fell down the well previously, and the other child hears his ghost and falls in looking for this ghost; or perhaps there isn't a ghost until a child falls in and dies (unlikely in a child movie). There is a night scene where the rescue is happening, with a fairly large house (not mansion) in the background. 5-10 men trying to get something/someone from the bottom of the well with ropes, families in the background. An attic may also be important; a child may be hiding there. It was in colour. PS See the following to understand the likely accuracy of my recollection: http://uclue.com/?xq=1291 http://uclue.com/?xq=2668

Ring any bells? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320708/usercomments Vacaciones de terror "...The six year old girl of the family falls into a well and finds the ragged old doll which will now bring back one of the many dark entities of the witch. Through incredible telekinetic powers and magical voodoo as well as bloody hallucinations the hell from beneath has come back and will now try to posses the young girl before the night is over...."

There's this one as well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/6300276368/imdb-adbox/ Child of Glass which actually is a kids movie, from Disney, no less, and involves ghosts, a large house (plantation), falling into a well, and a hayloft (pretty close to an attic). Bet you this is it. My colleague pinkfreud, who is never wrong, also identified it as a possibility. David

I didn't think you'd get it. I can't check if you are right, but it's probably Child of Glass, because the glass connection rings a bell. Congratulations again....
