Canadian television's CBC network features a reality TV program called "Dragon's Den", where entrepreneurs seek investment from seasoned millionaires. Many deals have been struck on the show but how many of these deals have actually been carried through with? Specifically, please list successful deals across Canada that have resulted from this program. Please list by province for the 3 year period of 2006-2009 and use sources other than the CBC's Dragon's Den website.

woolyisland, There don't seem to be many success stories that get publicly reported, though it's hard to be comprehensive. I've seen a just a handful of stories like this one: http://www.womenentrepreneurs.sk.ca/Membership/Highlights/AwardsandAchievements/tabid/99/Default.aspx "Rachel Mielke, this year's recipient of the Women Entrepreneurs Member of the Year Award for Emerging Business....She was featured on CBC's Dragons' Den...This attention has contributed to tremendous growth..." http://news.aol.ca/article/winnipeg-factory-worker-scores-dragons-den-deal/777348/ Winnipeg factory worker scores Dragons' Den deal [not quite an entrepreneurial success...but it's something...!] Most of what's out there in terms of success stories seems to have already been featured on the DD website, so I'm not sure how much there is to add. Would one or two more links like the ones above be a suitable answer to your question? David

Hi David, Thank you for your post regarding this question. Although I appreciate the links offered, they do not quite fit the detailed info I am looking for. The second link is in fact sourced from CBC, the makers of the show. The problem with the info provided on the DD website is that it just touts the initial success of the supposed deal, without any further data/details. I would like to have some facts on exactly what deals have been done. Regards, Woollyisland
