According to a Taiwan Today article dated March 20th 2012, the size of the online advertising market in Taiwan is US$346 million (2011).

"Taiwan’s online advertising revenues reached NT$10.21 billion (US$346 million) last year, up 19.46 percent from 2010, according to a survey conducted by Taipei-based Internet Advertising Media Association. "


Display Ads accounted for 61.7 percent of all online ads and grew by 19.66 percent last year.

Search ads grew 15.44 percent last year to NT$3.07 billion.

Social media advertising reached NT$836 million in 2011, with a growth rate of 35.06 percent last year.
