Uclue is closing

Uclue is closing. The last new questions will be accepted on December 14th, 2017 (at midnight Hove time, 2300 UTC).

For over ten years Uclue has operated a paid Q&A/research service, provided by a worldwide group of dedicated expert researchers. Uclue's researchers and commenters have provided information, re-connected friends, researched history, written poems, and solved puzzles. It's been a great ride, and we wouldn't have missed it for anything! But eventually there comes a time to move on.

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of Uclue, whether as a customer, researcher or commenter.

CAN I CONTACT UCLUE'S RESEARCHERS PRIVATELY?

Some of Uclue's researchers offer private research services. Regular customers who wish to continue working with these researchers can make contact by posting an unfunded question (to do this, set the price to $10, then close your browser tab when the PayPal screen appears so that you are not charged). If you explain what type of future research you have in mind, interested researchers can post their contact details on your question page.

WILL THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS REMAIN VISIBLE?

The site will stay online until at least January 31st, 2018. Some time after that (yet to be determined) the site will close. Please check back here for updates in January.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ACTIVE QUESTIONS AFTER 14 DECEMBER?

Any questions that you post on or before 14 December will remain open for answering for the usual period of 14 days, after which they will be automatically refunded if they have not been answered. As usual, you can cancel questions earlier and obtain a refund.
