I saw a movie a few years ago on bravo network that I quite liked. However I forgot the name and I havn't been able to find it.  the plot so far as I can remember it is as such.

a guy lives in a small village,  his life seems to revolve around a cemetary where I think he worked.  I think he suffers from insomnia, and alcoholism. The bodys of the recently deceased haunt him. I remember a scene where he kills two women in a fire.  the movie ends when he tries to leave town and the road reaches a cliff... it turns out his "world" exists  in a snow globe.

all very surreal.

I would appreciate the name of this movie so I can purchase it.  thanks. Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I believe the movie you recall is Cemetery Man.

"The final image is of this entire taking place inside a snowglobe, almost as though the entire thing has been a daydream of someone outside the movie."

"...the entire movie occurs inside a snowglobe."

Plot Synopsis

". . .  this funereal fantasy from the director of La Chiesa (1989) is unlike any Italian film in memory. Rupert Everett plays Francesco Dellamorte, a lonely cemetery caretaker who just wants to get out of his small town of Buffalora. His assistant and sole companion, Gnaghi (played by famed French musician Francois Hadji-Lazaro) is an overweight cretin who speaks only in grunts, and the dead people outside are rising from their graves as zombies and trying to have him for breakfast. This situation, coupled with all his other problems, gives Francesco a real complex. His troubles are compounded when he meets a series of mysterious women (all played by the beautiful Anna Falchi) whom he loves before they die tragically."

Read a New York Times movie review of Cemetery Man (1994).

"Dellamorte Dellamore (also known as Cemetery Man in the United States and Of Love and Death in Australia) is a 1994 Italian horror film directed by Michele Soavi. The screenplay by Gianni Romoli was based on the 1991 novel by Tiziano Sclavi. The film stars Rupert Everett, Fran├žois Hadji-Lazaro and Anna Falchi."

A summary of the movie is available at Wikipedia.

Amazon carries this film.

Cemetery Man is also available on eBay

I hope this helps!

Best regards,
