explain how to embed video into a website, and then explain how to have a counter on that player (to track the number of people who watch the video).

Hi kastenova,

Could you please provide a few more details regarding what you are trying to accomplish?  Is this for a video that is already hosted on a video sharing site such as YouTube or Hulu, a video file that is on your computer, or a video that is stored on or will be taken by a camera?

Probably easiest is to uplaod the video to youtube.com.

Once uploaded, you'll see a box on the right of the video's page called "embeded". Cut that HTML text in the box and paste it into your webpage and the video will appear when the webpage is loaded in a browser.

You can track the number of viewers right on the youtube page.
