What was the exchange rate of the Hong Kong dollar (HK$) to the US dollar on Feb 15, 1963? My attempts at Googling historic exchange rates have resulted only in sites providing past 10 years data. Perhaps such data going back to 1963 simply doesn't exist online.

nautico,

The Internet knows all!

According to the Foreign Exchange pages of the Wall Street Journal on Thursday February 15, 1963, a Hong Kong dollar was worth $.1760

Let me know if there's anything more you need.

David

P.S. the actual page is behind a paywall so I can't link to it here.
